I think all the posts and associated content are contained within this site. I had to manually edit a bunch of references that did not convert when I exported and then imported the posts from atrocious.info and egoartifex.com. Atrocious.info no longer exists. Egoartifex.com is still viewable. I am going to backup the site and download all the media one last time and then wipe it clean. I want to attempt a 3D Website with some XR/AR/VR or whatever it will be called features that can be viewed in a browser or with VR goggles (glasses? what are going to call them?)
I also need to find a manageable place to put all the diffusion bee generated images. Currently they are in several places. There is the local folder on the MacBook Pro and another local folder on the Mac Mini. I have made a copy of those to an iCloud folder called images that is accessible to all the devices sharing that iCloud account. I also imported all the images into an Apple Photos library. It’s not ideal as only the default library for photos is accessible across iCloud (I think this is true but am afraid to test the idea). I also have uploaded a subset of the images to Amazon Photos, though there are limited tools to manage photos. Ideally I’d have some scripts to automate parts of this and would be able to post a gallery from any device to any hosted service. I want this to always start from my hosted website and then publish to any number of other services. I used to have all my wordpress posts publish to twitter but the API from X is no longer part of the Jetpack service. I don’t use facebook and find instagram to be a terrible interface to view things. It’s also mostly self contained and so no one clicks on links (a necessity since 3D content isn’t supported). Instagram is ubiquitous with the arts community so I probably will need to learn how to use it. I also installed threads to see what it offers. It’s an approximation of the old Twitter experience. So maybe? All of these platforms seem to emphasize clutter and distraction. None really allow for focus and there’s very little control for either the publisher or the audience. But this is mostly me being an old out of touch grump.
